Exodus 14:14

It is 2020 and for some of us we are experiencing the most anxiety-filled, and confusing time of our life so far. In the midst of stay-at-home orders, wearing a mask grocery shopping, and time with friends being limited, we don't know who to turn to. Many of us are lost and upset and confused.

When we go to Scripture we see time and time again that God is there for us and He will protect us and He is good. But what about when you don't understand what's going on? What if you are just so anxious and confused and lost? What if all of this is out of your control?

Exodus 14:14 says "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." You need only to be still. God doesn't say you need to do it alone or fight half the time while God fights the other half. He wants to take away your anxiety and your pain and fight for you.

I am constantly in awe of God's word but this verse is special. Find peace in the fact that God "will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Revelation 7:9

God put other people in our lives for a reason. We are meant to work with others regardless of the many differences we may have.
